The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will open the season at No. 16 in The Associated Press preseason college rankings. The poll, released Saturday, includes four other Atlantic Coast Conference teams: Virginia Tech at No. 10, Miami at No. 13, North Carolina at No. 18 and Florida State at No. 20. (Read More…)

Georgia Tech continued its preparations for the 2010 season on Saturday by putting the offense and defense against each other, opening the gates of Bobby Dodd Stadium and seeing what transpired.
The first intrasquad scrimmage of the preseason saw Joshua Nesbitt rush for a touchdown and pass for a score, plenty of hard hits from the defense, and an estimated 2,000 fans turn out on a dreary, cloudy day in Atlanta on Saturday to see the defending Atlantic Coast Conference champions.
